About this Map

This 'Prime Map of the Shattered Plains' is a reproduction of an original hanging in His Majesty Elhokar's Gallery of Maps. The map illustrates the symmetrical yet broken landscape of the Shattered Plains, located in the east of Roshar. In the far east, the massive plateau known as 'the Tower' is clearly visible, serving as a key strategic point for Gemheart runs. To the west, the ten Alethi warcamps are nestled against the foothills, where the Highprinces of Alethkar stage their ongoing war against the Parshendi. The map captures the intricate network of plateaus and chasms that define this desolate but vital region, though glyphpairs and plateau numbers have been removed for clarity in this smaller reproduction.
